Pattern Energy is developing the Broughton Wind project on private lands in the municipalities of Saint-Pierre-de-Broughton, Sacré-Coeur-de-Jésus and Thetford in the province of Québec. The project will bring community revenue, local jobs, and benefits lasting generations.

01 /
  • Broughton Wind represents a private investment of approximately CA$450 million that will provide widespread direct and indirect job creation and local economic benefits.

  • During construction, Broughton Wind will create about 150 to 200 jobs, including equipment operators, electricians, labourers, and other professionals from a range of disciplines. We prioritize hiring locally when possible. Once operational, approximately 7 to 10 permanent staff will operate and maintain the facility.

  • Broughton Wind will provide local families with a new reliable income source through land leases and make significant contributions to the community. The stable, long-term funding will contribute to education, community services, and more.

We place great importance on being an active part of the local communities where we have a presence.

Please let us know if your group would like a presentation or if you have suggestions for community sponsorships and local causes we can support.
