Pattern Energy is committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all employees belong, regardless of gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, religion, or ability. We believe that having diversity in our teams and in our leadership, and providing an environment where employees from underrepresented groups are encouraged and empowered, leads to a more engaged workforce and better outcomes for all our stakeholders.

In 2020, we established a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council and our Commitment Statement for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We published our DEI Commitment Statement during Pattern’s first Diversity Month. Organized by our Affinity Networks, Diversity Month entailed a range of activities, including an unconscious bias workshop; Indigenous Peoples, Hispanic heritage, and LGBTQ+ panel discussions; and a "fireside chat" about diversity with our executive team.
