Amazon Wind Farm Fowler Ridge is located in Benton County, Indiana. The facility supplies the electric grids that service the Amazon Web Services data centers to help achieve Amazon’s long-term goal of 100% renewable energy usage for its global infrastructure.

The facility sits on farmland with many small towns located nearby. There are other wind farms in the area, and the community enthusiastically welcomed Amazon Wind Farm Fowler Ridge.

The Amazon Wind Farm Fowler Ridge team is proud to support its surrounding communities by regularly contributing to a variety of local organizations, annual community celebrations, and local first responders.

Amazon is delighted to power “the cloud” with wind. Fowler Ridge generates energy equal to the electricity needs of approximately 46,000 Hoosier homes each year.

The 150 MW facility reached commercial operation in December 2015. Amazon Wind Farm Fowler Ridge uses 65 wind turbines, with all parts manufactured and assembled in America.
